This ministry is designed to orientate each new member. The Connection team will assist new members with understanding the mission, and vision of New Jerusalem.  Additionally, we will share the doctrine and core belief of our church. To become a full member of New Jerusalem one must attend and complete their orientation and receive the right hand of fellowship. Church school is one of the church’s most powerful ways to affirm the Word of God as the foundation for living the Christian life. It is the place where we teach the vital importance of Scripture to our children, youth, young adults, and adults and disciple them in their Christian walk.  Church School is held every Saturday at 9:00 am, virtually. Education should be a lifelong process for the believer. Our Church School is designed to help all of us, at whatever stage of life, deepen our knowledge and faith, and integrate our faith and our gifts into our lives within this rapidly changing world.  You connect to our Church School virtually through Zoom.

Our Greeter’s Ministry welcome guest and members to church for worship. Their first concern is that our guests enjoy themselves and feel acceptance and love. Our greeters have willingly taken the charge to be ambassadors of Jesus Christ, giving the best initial worship experience entering and exiting our Church.  

Health Care professionals provide care and support services to the pastor, ministerial staff, members and visitors. This ministry is committed to administering these services in a compassionate and loving manner conductive to promoting spiritual wholeness.

This ministry manages the audio and visual technology during all services and our social media presence. 

We are a Christ-centered and committed ministry whom God has called to serve our church and community with our gift of song and music. The Praise Team and choir lead God’s people into praise and worship to properly set the atmosphere for the delivery of the Word during church services. The overall purpose of this ministry is to usher people into the presence of God.

To serve, assist, and support New Jerusalem ministries, events, and community partners. Meetings are held quarterly, remotely (unless otherwise noted).

The Security Ministry is designed to provide physical and emotional security and safety of God’s people and property during worship services and other activities held at the church.  The security ministry will provide a safe surrounding for church activities that include the collecting of tithes and offerings, parking, and general physical security.    It is the goal of this ministry to be the trained eyes and ears of the church.

The Trustees Ministry focuses on the physical and legal affairs of our church. Along with our pastor, trustees are responsible for the church’s financial affairs and the development and administration of the church budget. Church properties and the comfort of our sanctuary and facilities are of primary concern to this ministry. Trustees, with assistance from our pastor, assure that all church properties are well maintained and utilized. Trustees are appointed by the pastor, and they meet when the pastor and chairman deem necessary. 

Our ushers serve our guest and members to ensure their comfort and address concerns during the worship service.  It is the usher’s role to be a positive influence and to go the extra mile to help everyone. This ministry includes: Male Ushers, Inspirational Ushers, Adult Ushers and Youth Ushers.

Graciously seating and attending to the needs of the worshippers such that they are ready and receptive to hearing the word.

Generation Next is our youth and young adults ministry. This ministry is committed to the spiritual, educational and social development of youth and young adults of our church. Our goal is to provide our youth and young adults with experiences, lessons and activities that help them grow in their relationship with Jesus and with each other.
