Our Beliefs

We believe it is our responsibility to preach and teach the Word of God.  The bible tells us only those things we do for Christ will count.  We invite you to join us and we learn, share and grow in Word and service.

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them”.  Romans 10:14

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”. 2 Timothy 3:16

WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IN ITS ENTIRETY IS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.

“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.” 2 Corinthians 13:14

WE BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER, JESUS CHRIST AS GOD THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR COMFORTER.

Our Church Affirmation

I am a proud Ministry partner of the New Jerusalem Impact Church of South Florida.  It’s our vision, to impact the world one life at a time through Jesus Christ.

  • We were created for Worship
  • We were created for Fellowship
  • We were created for Discipleship
  • We were created for Giving
  • And we were created for Winning Souls

As a ministry partner of the New Jerusalem Impact Church, I promise to offer my best in all I do, because God through Jesus Christ gave us his best. Romans 12:1says, we should present our lives as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service.

We are The Impact Church!

Our History

In 1978 seven people gathered to form the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church.  Seven  dedicated men and women of God gathered to form the initial congregation in the home of Bro. James and Sis. Fannie Howard.  We are thankful for our founders, Sister Ira McFarley, Sister Virie Lewis, Sister Utha White, Sister Marazine Brown, Sister Fannie Howard, Brother James Howard and Deacon William Brown, who came together with a mission of making an impact on the Kingdom of God and its people.

Under the leadership of late Elder S. P. Kilpatrick, Moderator, other joined the 7 founders to constitute the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist church on September 27, 1978. The first church was located at 1900 NW 36th Street.  Elder A. V. Ward became the first pastor of the church, serving faithfully for two years. Followed the late Elder F. E. Wrease in April of 1981.

Under the leadership of our third and current pastor Elder Dr. Kenneth A. Duke, New Jerusalem moved from the location on NW 36th street to its current location at 777 NW 85th Street on April 11, 1998.  The building was officially dedicated on May 30, 1998.
